Shipping + Returns


Orders are typically shipped next business day via USPS First Class or Priority Mail with expected arrival to US destinations in 3-4 days. 

On occasion we will ship UPS (both domestic and international) on larger orders if cost competitive.  If you would like to upgrade to a different shipping method please let us know and we can provide a cost estimate.

We ship internationally to the following locations:
Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the European Union and Japan.  If shipping to a different destination, please contact us prior to ordering for confirmation.  WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SHIP TO THE UK.

International customers are responsible for all taxes and custom fees that may be due upon arrival. All packages will be marked as merchandise on customs forms with the true purchase price excluding shipping charges. We cannot mark as a gift or de-value the price. 

International deliveries typically arrive within 10-14 days, but can take several weeks due to delays in customs and other factors outside our control.

We are now offering DHL shipping for our International Customers.  DHL is shipping in 3-5 days to many places.   Prices are automatically calculated based on estimated weight of package.  If there are significant discrepancies between the quoted price and actual price we will refund the difference or may need to contact you to review options.  Please provide an email during checkout.

We cannot take responsibility for packages lost in the mail or in customs. Please contact us prior to ordering if you would like to purchase insurance.

We try our best to ship orders as cost-effectively as possible, which may include dividing fabrics between two or more packages. We refund significant shipping overcharges.

If ordering individual cuts of 1 yard or less, we can often fit additional fabric in flat rate envelopes and boxes. Please leave us a note on checkout if you are interesting in adding more to an order as space allows.


We make every effort to package your order as environmentally-friendly as possible while ensuring your items will arrive in tip-top condition.

For fabric traveling First Class, we use a kraft paper inner wrap and a water-resistant, high recycled-content mailer. These mailers often have a second adhesive strip for re-use.

Fabric in water-resistant, USPS padded flat rate envelopes will be shipped with an inner kraft paper wrap.

For fabric traveling in an USPS Priority Mail cardboard box, we are no longer using plastic bags or wrap and are using kraft paper instead.  If you are concerned about moisture, please leave us a note on checkout and we can wrap your fabric in plastic prior to placing it in the box.  We will re-use plastic from manufacturer's fabric bolt packaging to the fullest extent possible. 



We want you to love what you've ordered! If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns within 14 days of purchase for US customers and 30 days on International orders.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (uncut, unwashed, odor-free, and in original packaging when applicable).

Some products are exempt from being returned:
these include Patterns, Remnants, Gift Cards, Sale Items, and Items marked "As-Is" or otherwise noted as non-returnable within the product details.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us before shipping a return so we know to expect something.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.  Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, international customers will receive a gift certificate equivalent to the purchase price.  Please note that shipping charges are not refundable. If for some reason, we cannot approve your return, arrangements will be made to return the item(s) to you.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund when expected, first check your account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance on your returned items. We cannot take responsibility for items lost in the mail or that otherwise don't reach us.
